Rogue Spirits Cocktail Friday, Shakespeare Edition

This weekend we’re celebrating Shout Out To Stout Month (#RogueStouts) with two cocktails our mixologists designed specifically for the occasion. Each recipe combines Rogue Ales Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout with one of our whiskeys and vodkas.

The Dead Shakespeare

Here’s simple recipe using only four ingredients, including Rogue Spirits Dead Guy Whiskey. As the Bard himself might have said, brevity is the soul of a good cocktail.
Dead Shakespeare

Combine Dead Guy Whiskey, simple syrup and grapefruit juice in shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into pint glass with ice. Top with Shakespeare Stout.

A Midwinter Cocktail

Here’s one to keep you warm during the fiercest blizzard. Our Oregon Single Malt Vodka is exceptionally smooth, just like Shakespeare himself.

Midwinter Cocktail

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Stir until the outside of the shaker feels cold. Strain into martini glasses.

Dead Shakespeare or a Midwinter Cocktail? With that as the question, then there’s no wrong answer as long you’re mixing it with a Rogue Spirit whiskey or vodka.
