Rogue Whiskey, A Hit At The Ballpark

There used to be four things you could count on at every ballpark in America; peanuts, Cracker Jacks, hot dogs and flavorless beer.

Thank goodness most stadiums have graduated to craft beer and many others are expanding their food offerings. But this season the folks at Safeco Field joined the Rogue Spirits Revolution. Drop by the Sound Bar on the Club Level and you can enjoy your next Seattle Mariners game along with one of our whiskeys.

Safeco Field

A beautiful day at Safeco Field. We have some suggestions on how to improve it.

But just because your stadium now has gluten-free and vegan options, it doesn’t mean you are required to eat them. We see nothing wrong with peanuts, Cracker Jacks and hot dogs. Here’s our official guide to Rogue Spirits Ballpark Pairings.

Peanuts Single MaltPeanuts – Oregon Single Malt Whiskey

How simple are peanuts? They’re just peanuts and maybe salt.

With only three ingredients our Single Malt Whiskey is simple, too. Malt from the barley we grow at Rogue Farms plus our proprietary Pacman Yeast and Free Range Coastal Water. Let’s not overthink this.

Cracker Jacks Dead Guy

Cracker Jacks – Dead Guy Whiskey

Cracker Jacks are that a combination of sweet and salty. They deserve a whiskey with a strong malty backbone, something like our Dead Guy Whiskey.

Sorry, but there’s no prize at the bottom of the bottle.

Hot Dog Rye Whiskey

Hot Dogs – Oregon Rye Whiskey

Hot dogs plus ketchup, mustard or relish. What you’ve got is a big spicy mess. Your whiskey is also going to need some spiciness. That’s why we suggest pairing hot dogs with Oregon Rye Whiskey.

Mashed with Dream Rye that we grew and malted ourselves, this tough little grain brings a kick to every bottle of Oregon Rye Whiskey.

Play ball!!
