Talking Booze

Craft spirits is in the same place where craft brewing was 25 years ago.

New. Challenging. Revolutionary.

Jam all that energy into one weekend and you get the Great American Distillers Festival.

The festival was held this year at the historic Tiffany Center in Portland, Oregon. 50 craft distillers. Lots of vendors. More than 1000 craft spirit fans. Where else can you walk up and shake the hand of the distiller who makes your favorite spirit?

The weekend began with a cocktail contest. Skip Rock Distillers of Snohomish, Washington won Best Specialty Cocktail with a recipe made from their vodka and Spiced Apple liqueur.
