One of our just planted field of Dare spring malting barley.

Clear skies, warm weather. We couldn’t ask for better cooperation as we wrap up planting the 2013 Dare™ spring malting barley crop.

Nearly all the 100 acres of Dare™ have been plowed, disced, harrowed and seeded. Everything should be in the ground in the next day or so.

And as if nature knew exactly what we needed, rain and cooler temperatures are forecasted for the end of the week. That’s perfect weather for newly planted malting barley.
